The Megaphone Choir. Motet for amplified choir

A participative performance by megaphones made of cardboard, by David Wall (composer) and John Greyson (conductor). Website/multimedia documentation by Roberta Buiani, Vari Hall, York University, May 20, 2004.

The website component consists of a clone-spoof of the York University website containing media documents and information about the upcoming protests/choir. The project was created to support Daniel Freeman-Maloy, a York University student who had been singled out and unjustly expelled from the University for having used a megaphone during a protest at Vari Hall, a space normally dedicated to student gatherings and other loud events.
